This is a book about Cadavers(dead bodies) and how they have been used for a variety of curious purposes. More specifically it chronicles the contributions of the deceased to scientific research. On the surface the premise sounds stale and incredibly boring but Mary Roach pulls of a rank page turner writing with deftness and a wry sense of humor.
